Freelance can be hard
These are the most common reasons freelancers fail to stay booked or make a great living.
1. work starts → marketing stops
As soon you get work, all of your marketing efforts stop (cold outreach, networking, reaching out to past clients, sharing work on social media).
2. No crm
You don’t have, or manage, a CRM (Client Relationship Management), you will lose so many opportunities. It’s impossible to hold all names of people and studios in your head.
3. Poor positioning
You’re not position yourself in a way that makes you the obvious choice for your ideal clients. When your positioning isn’t aligned, it confuses potential clients. And confused clients don’t buy.
4. Pricing issues
You don’t know how to price your work (typically undercharging, sometimes underquoting 2x, 3x, or 4x lower than you should be).
5. No accountability/support
You have zero accountability or support for working ON your freelance business.
6. Post-n-ghost
You post and ghost (share once or twice on social media, then lurk for weeks or months). Hiding in the shadows doesn’t help your new, exciting clients find out how awesome you are.
These reasons cause so many freelancers to struggle and experience the rollercoaster of freelance feast and famine.
With coaching, you can learn how to avoid these pitfalls.

"I officially completed the extra $25K goal which came in just at a perfect time for me personally."
– Han (Technical/3D Artist)
"So I just realized… when I send my invoice in this Friday, I will have more than doubled the +$25K. I’m only counting jobs I got from implementing strategies from your course."
– Paul Del Vecchio (Editor/Motion Graphics, Director)
"+$25k goal achieved! Thank you, and everyone here, for your help and mentorship. Things are just getting started!"

"Work is starting to flood in after I stuck to the checklist and did my outreach."
– Michael Decker (Motion Designer)
"My previous day rate was $450. But after the Rates Discussion, I confidently pitched $700 rate to a client and they said yes."
– A.C. (Motion Designer)
"After the Rates Discussion, I doubled my normal hourly rate increase. This new rate hasn't been contested... so this should secure the extra $25k alone."

Simply surviving as a freelancer is hard. You don't have to grow your freelance business alone.
Building a freelance business is hard. You need to get your positioning right, then your online presence, then your social media messaging, then your networking and outreach, and your creative processes, then your client management and production, and finally your cash flow management (if you’re lucky enough to have cash flow to manage). Very few freelancers understand how to operate the necessary systems of a strong freelance business and that's why most freelancers struggle year after year.
Fill out the application form below and let’s get started building your freelance like the growing creative business it can be. To get the application form, simply click below.
